Belting

ISMACS News
Issue 60

IT'S NO LONGER easy to find good round belting in a variety of sizes although committee man Allan Sheen always has a fair selection However, it was a little different in the later days of the past century when the Clerkenwell Road company of J W Cable was the leading London supplier.

Belting could be supplied, round, flat, square or angular.

A general dealer could buy a mixed lot of one gross (144) in lengths from 54 to 57 inches for just 16s (.80p).
