What we confidently predict will be the largest gathering of sewing-machine enthusiasts ever is scheduled for the weekend of October 17-18, 2009 in Charlotte, NC
We are currently talking with the Charlotte Convention Bureau to negotiate the best price and the best hotel available
A whole raft of attractions is being progressed including, of course, a guided tour of Harry Berzack's museum and an organized tour of the fabled Carter Bays collection
All the usual favoiurites will be there -- the row upon row of sales tables and the world's largest vintage sewing machine auction . Over 300 machines changed hands at the last event -- at prices ranging from $10 to $10,000
