Forthcoming Events

ISMACS 2011 AGM

At the Sports and Social Club of the Forestry Commission Research Station
based at Alice Holt, near Farnham, Surrey, GU10 4LH, UK.

Sunday 8th May, 11.00am

We will have a display of machines manufactured by the Royal Machine
Company of Birmingham, one of the most prolific of Birmingham
Manufacturers. Graham will be bringing two very rare machines to display
alongside examples from Martin and Clive. You are invited to bring along
your own examples, so that we may have as large a range as possible.

Audience participation! It is your Society, so please bring your favourite
machine (the one you would rescue from a fire or granny’s machine – your
prettiest machine or just an unusual machine). Be prepared to talk about it
to us.

We will have the sales tables for your surplus machines and go-withs –
absolutely anything sewing related. All items must be priced (not best offer).

Consult our experts on any aspect of sewing machine collecting, repairing,
restoring or identification.
